Prequalification

Ref: International open Tender for the Selection of an international twinning partner for provision of training in radiology and teleradiology for medical and non-medical personnel in the Regional Medical Multi-Profile Centres.

Project Executing Agency : The MoH of the republic of Uzbekistan represented by the Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA).

Project Measures: Preparation and implementation of trainings as a twinning partner in capacity building in imaging services, as well as in particular magnet resonance imaging.

Requested services:

The international twinning partner services shall cover the following tasks:

  • Development and implementation of a training concept comprising training for advanced radiology diagnostics and MRI application for medical and non-medical personnel, including didactic manuals and materials and problem solving exercises.
  • Development and implementation of a complete program to train trainers in radiology.
  • Development, introduction and implementation of trainings on how to work with teleradiology technologies : Establishment of an internet platform to support the communication (data exchange and diagnosis discussion) within the twinning partnership (International twinning Institute and the MMPCs) using the TMA as a focal point. The program shall include regular practical exercises.
  • Develop and implement guidelines and SOP for the use of imaging diagnosis equipment : These guidelines shall include a list of diagnosis and diseases for which diagnostic imaging equipment will be recommended to be used.
  • Implement guidelines and teach physicians on indicating radiology/MRI diagnostics and referrals.

Evaluation, award, and contract: The selection of the international institution will be conducted by means of the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedure with qualification as specified in KfW’s Procurement Guidelines, January 2019 (See www.kfw-enwicklungsbank.de)
